GRANTS, New Mexico

Just thought I would post this quickly to let you know that we are now in Grants, NM. I have been a little slack on the posting front and am feeling a little bad about it....sorry. We are now about 7 riding days and some 3-400 miles from our border crossing destination. The weather is fine and hot and we are in good spirits. New Mexico landscape and topography is very much like that depicted in road runner cartoons.
I will post something more substantial along with some photos when we reach El Paso.

Oh, so you're still there then! Very good of you to keep us posted. While you've been away the credit crunch has worsened. Some of the girl back at the office found a talking frog the other day. The frog claimed if kissed he would turn back into an investment banker. They've decided to keep him as a talking frog, since he's worth more.

Wennys - Grinner here! Have been reading your blog with interest and a bit of envy...looks fantastic. Think I'm going to have a go at Lands End to JOG next year but that's a walk in the park compared to your jaunt.

Get in touch when you get back and would be great to catch up. Have just looked at your map and you're almost there at the border so good luck for the final stretch!

Hola chicos! Can't believe you're nearly there. Well done. Hope the cervezas are flowing and there's a bit of manana manana! Good to catch up last week - Lib and I survived last weekend's 2 wheeling expedition... - me trailing behind in normal fashion....:-)Looking forward to a face to hairy face (that's you not me!) catch up very soon. Enjoy the last chapter and safe journey home. Besos Sarah xx
